TABLE TENNIS COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT

The goal of the program:

To provide a meaningful way to spend leisure time, offer a competition opportunity for the PTE Medical School (PTE ÁOK) citizens, foster sports relations, and popularize the sport.

Venue and Time of the program:

November 10, 2025 (Monday) 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM; UP MS Basement Gym (Szigeti str. 12.).

PTE Medical School Sports and Physical Education Center (PTE ÁOK Testnevelés és Mozgásközpont)

Competition Jury:

Employees of the PTE ÁOK Sports and Physical Education Center (TMK)

Participants:

Students of the PTE Medical School (PTE ÁOK)

Registration:

Running of the Competition:

Depending on the number of entrants, the competition will be played in a round-robin format, or in groups (with a round-robin within the groups).

Deciding Placements:

In a round-robin, the competitor with the most points is the winner. In case of a tie in points, the head-to-head result will count.

• Win: 2 points
• Loss: 1 point

In group matches, competitors will advance depending on the number of participants in the groups.

Awards:

The place winners will receive a medal, and the first-place winner will receive a trophy.

Other Information:

Participation in the event is free of charge but requires registration. Muesli bars, fruit, and refreshments will be provided for the participants. Sports attire must be brought! Sports equipment (table, net, rackets, balls) will be provided by the organisers, but personal rackets and balls are also permitted. If you registered but will not be able to participate, please cancel your registration to assist our work!
