VIII. MEDICAL CLIMBING COMPETITION

Dear Students!

We invite you to a challenging and adventurous event aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and the sport of climbing! The Physical Education and Sports Center of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Pécs, in collaboration with the Pécs Youth Climbing Sports Club, is organizing for the sixth time the Medical Climbing Competition.

Aim of the competition: To provide a competitive opportunity for students of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Pécs.

Location of the competition: Climbing gym Pécs, Pécsi Sasok Sports Center

7622 Pécs, Búzatér 6/b. 1st floor.

Date: 2025.11.11. Tuesday 19:00-20:30 and 2025.11.12. Wednesday 17:30-19:00

Participants: Active students of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Pécs with student status.

We can accept the registration of the first 15 participants. Registration will not be possible on-site. Participation and registration are free of charge.

Participants have 1.5 hours to earn points by climbing. Each participant may attempt a route maximum of 3 times.

Categories: Female, male, beginner, and advanced levels.

Determination of rankings: Based on scoring.

Evaluation: The top 3 in each category will receive medal awards.

In case of unforeseen obstacles, the organizers reserve the right to make changes to the competition.

By submitting the registration, each participant accepts the rules of the climbing gym, which can be reviewed on-site, and agrees that photos and videos taken during the competition may be used for advertising purposes.

We wish everyone a successful competition. Please arrive 10 minutes prior the start of the competition!
